1. Purpose

Ensure consistent strength, finish and quality of MIB 8-inch bricks.

2. Who Is Responsible

Factory Supervisor — confirms recipe and approves the mix.
Mixing labour — measures and mixes per recipe.

3. When To Use This SOP

At the start of every MIB 8-inch batch, before feeding the machine.

5. Step-by-Step Visual SOP

Confirm product is MIB 8-inch before mixing.
Check red soil, m-sand dust, cement and water.
Use the approved mix ratio only.
Add water gradually — do not make the mix too wet.
Mix evenly before feeding the machine.
Produce the first 20 bricks.
Continue only after First 20 Bricks Approval (FIRST20_QC_V1).

10. Common Mistakes

Changing the ratio without approval.
