1. Purpose

Ensure bricks move through curing without mixing, damage or under-curing.

2. Who Is Responsible

Factory Supervisor — controls batch movement and curing dates.
Labour team — moves batches and retains batch cards.

3. When To Use This SOP

Each time a batch moves into, within, or out of the curing area.

Move only batch-wise.

Do not mix approved and hold stock.
Protect from unnecessary moisture/ground damage.
Mark the curing start date.
Mark the ready-for-dispatch date.

Dispatching before the ready date.
