1. Purpose

Ensure consistent strength, finish and quality of MIB 6-inch bricks.

2. Who Is Responsible

Factory Supervisor — confirms recipe and approves the mix.
Mixing labour — measures and mixes per recipe.

3. When To Use This SOP

At the start of every MIB 6-inch batch, before feeding the machine.

5. Step-by-Step Visual SOP

Confirm product is MIB 6-inch before mixing.
Check red soil, m-sand dust, cement and water.
Use the approved 6-inch mix ratio only.
Add water gradually — do not make the mix too wet.
Mix evenly before feeding the machine.
Produce the first 20 bricks.
Continue only after First 20 Bricks Approval (FIRST20_QC_V1).

⚠️ Recipe quantities are intentionally blank. Fill only with the 6-inch ratio approved by management. The 6-inch ratio may differ from the 8-inch ratio (MIB8_MIXING_V1) — do not assume they are the same.

9. Escalation Rule

10. Common Mistakes

Over-watering the mix.
Feeding the machine before the mix is uniform.
